What is Workskills?
Workskills is a level two qualification and equal to GCSE level. As a Workskills student you will study a variety of units. You will learn IT skills, CV writing, how to be resilient, work on an enterprise project and undertake a work placement.
How is it assessed?
Workskills is assessed through units which are internally assessed and verified by BTEC, there is no exam.
Does it have a work placement as part of the course?
Yes it does, you will need to undertake a work placement for one day a week, previous placements have been in leisure centres, Tigers Trust, advertising agency, schools, care homes and shops.
