Computer Science is about the development of our computational thinking skills; you will be provided with the tools you need to hone these skills and develop your logical problem-solving skills.

Frequently asked questions

Do we develop games?

No. Games development is not on the current curriculum

Do I need to have a computer at home?

Ideally, yes.
However, there are laptops provided for use in lessons that are solely for Computer Science students.

What programming languages will I learn?

You will learn to use:

  • C#
  • Haskell
  • Assembly

Do I need to be good at Maths?

Being good at Maths will be a huge advantage, but as long as you have a Grade 6 or above, you should be fine
